RULES FOR THE BOURNEMOUTH JUNIOR TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE

The Competition Fee will be determined by the BDTTA Committee at the first meeting following the Annual General Meeting for the season in which the fees will operate. Subscriptions and Fees for the Junior 'League' shall be due on the day of each 'League' competition, but may be paid in advance.

The Junior Competition will normally be run for three terms each playing season, each term having three match dates. The Junior Competion will be run in Divisions not exceeding eight players. Each player's ability will be assessed by the Organiser at the start of the first term to determine into which division each player will be placed. At the end of each term the top two players in each division will be promoted to the next higher division and the bottom two players demoted to the next lower division.

ANNUAL JUNIOR 'LEAGUE' COMPETITION RULES

a)Each Junior 'League' Competition player must be over the age of eight on the first of January in each year and under the age of sixteen years, also on the first of January in each year.
b)Each Junior 'League' Competition player must be registered as a Junior Player Member with the National Governing body.
c)The match fee, determined by the Committee, may be paid either for the whole season, the whole term or for the day of the competition only.
d)The Parent or Guardian of each Junior is required to complete a Parental Consent form as provided by the Dorset Table Tennis Association Welfare officer. Knowledge of the Codes of Conduct is recognised on the form.
e)A match will normally consist of all players in a Division playing each other on a 'round-robin' basis, three games each being first to eleven points. All points gained will be accumulated to give an overall winner of the matches. At the end of the third competition of each term the number of points scored will determine the progress of the player.
f)At the end of the second term an Individuals ompetition will be held consisting of a Junior Closed, Handicap and Pairs. Perpetual Cups will be awarded to the winners.
g)The Appointed Secretary of the Competition to hold a position on the Committee of the BDTTA to represent the Junior Players.
h)Conditions of the Competition may be changed at the discretion of the BDTTA Committee.
