Chairman's Letter to Members

League Format for 2018-19 Season

Dear Member,

With the new season upon us, I would like to take the opportunity to follow up my letter of last season and summarise the format of the league competition for 2018-19.

We had 55 teams enter, an increase of 1. After considering options of 12, 10 and 8 (playing 3 times) team divisions, the committee unanimously agreed to opt for 5 divisions of 12, a reduction of 1 division from the 2017-18 season.

This has, of course resulted in a re-shuffling of the teams throughout the divisions, resulting in some compromises having to be made.

Next season, we hope that the situation will have stabilised and normal service will be resumed as far as promotions and relegations is concerned.

Finally, I would like to thank all of the committee, for giving up their time, working together and most importantly, putting up with me in order to produce this year’s fixtures.

Good luck for the coming season.

Phil Hadley

Chairman
